Evista. The risk of breast cancer is reduced “without a shadow of a doubt” according to one scientist and doctor looking into the drug, and the new England Journal of Medicine says so too. It has recently been approved by the head hancho director of the United States Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research to prevent the onset of invasive breast cancer. The doctors supplement the claim with the addition that calcium or vitamin D should be taken in conjunction with the medication to make the effects even better. Some people that should also not take the drug include women with a history of thromboembolic events, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, retinal vein thrombosis, and some women can even show a hypersensitivity to raloxifene. Dr. Elizabeth Barret-Connor is also a steadfast supporter of the drug. She contends that it works well for a diverse set of conditions.

Clomid. Clomid, which also goes by the name of Clomifene, is an SERM, which is another term for a selective estrogen receptor modulator. It is a fertility stimulator that is given to women that can’t have children. It is marketed by several other trade names that include Clomid, Serophene, and Milopene.

Arimidex. Arimidex counteracts the conersion of androgens to estrogen, and it binds to the enzyme through a process known as competitive inhibition. Since heightened levels of estrogen can increase the risk of breast cancer, there are several theoretical and practical reasons why this drug might work for the treatment of breast cancer. There are some side effects, however, like bone weakness. It is sometimes used for children their growth disorders to stop or slow the onset of puberty. Children that go through puberty age 5 or older, but under the normal age for puberty, can suffer severe consequences if they don’t take some drugs to mitigate the action of puberty at such a low age. Other men take this drug for benign prostatic hyperplasia, gynecomastia, hypogonadism, gynecomastia, and water retention.

Femara. Athletes and bodybuilders have been known to use it during the steroid cycle they have to reduce the bloating that is due to excess water retention and prevent the formation of gynecomastia that is related to breast tissue that is a side effect of some anabolic steroids. Children that are overly short have also been shown to be helped by Letrozole, and those with endometriosis have also been helped. Some males with a condition known as nonobstructive azoospermia have also been helped in their ability to promote spermatogenesis. The formation of gynecomastia related breast tissue is a side effect of taking some anabolic steroids, and this can be abolished with the use of Femara. Some women have also used it for ovarian stimulation to promote fertility because it has less of a side effects profile than Clomid. It has a reduced risk profile for multiple gestation. More people can be helped with Femara for this condition than with Clomid with a comparable dose.
